This year we're adding a fun new activity to the social, SlideShare Karaoke. If you've never played, it's a simple game where you step and present a few short slides. There's just one catch: the slides are randomly chosen from the internet and you've never seen them before! Improvise and bluff your way to victory!

Going to a PHP Conference is an inspiring activity. By the end of the day, your mind is tired of absorbing all this information. What better way to unwind than by playing games. No computer games, but by sitting down with your fellow developers and play board games and card games. This is exactly what we're going to do on the Friday night of DPC

The Dutch PHP Conference team is proud to have Cal Evans host a “Getting the most out of your conference” webinar for all #DPC19 attendees on May 28th. It doesn’t matter if this is your first DPC or your tenth, if you are not prepared before you get to the conference, you will miss many of the opportunities presented.

Just like last years there will be an unconference again! The “Uncon” is an informal track running alongside the main conference, and is meant to give everybody attending an opportunity to speak. If you're at DPC, you can get on stage and deliver a presentation, simply find our Uncon hosts to put you on the schedule.

We want to remind you that the early bird period for the DPC is almost over! The 15% ticket discount will disappear after April 15th. Of course, you can still purchase tickets after the early bird closes but this is the lowest price they’ll be. Also, if you’re planning to attend one of the tutorials there is more reason to hurry.

We are excited to relaunch The DPC Scholarship Fund for the 2019 conference. The DPC scholarship fund is sponsoring tickets for the Dutch PHP Conference to members of underrepresented groups with the purpose of encouraging them to join this tech community.

Today we published our schedule for the Dutch PHP Conference 2019! We offer 11 workshops, 5 parallel tracks + 1 unconference track and many social activities. DPC19 brings together the best speakers, PHP, JavaScript and DevOps talent from Europe and beyond for three days of high-level technical sessions.

Now the CFP is closed, the organizers handpick a team of developers for the selection committee. The list of abstracts will be rated by each member in our rating tool on a scale of 1 - 10. The organizers average up the ratings and do some manual review for statistical outliers. With this in hand, they begin making final picks.

The call for papers is nearing it's end, and although we already have a great amount of superb submissions we're always looking for more quality content. This will be your final chance to take the stage at the Amsterdam RAI in June, all you need to do is to fill out the CFP form. In return we offer the speaker package for the selected speakers...

Speakers, the call for papers is now open! We’re looking for high-quality, technical sessions from speakers who can cover advanced topics and keep our demanding audience inspired. Tutorials are 3 or 6 hours in length and the standard conference sessions should be 45 minutes. We’re very excited to see what you can come up with...

The Dutch PHP Conference is very pleased to announce the dates for the 2019 edition: we will be organizing DPC19 on 6, 7 and 8 of June 2019! We will be hosting the conference again in the RAI Amsterdam venue. Traditionally we start with a preconference tutorial day on thursday June 6, followed by 2 full conference days on friday and saturday.

There’s nothing like the real thing, but with a conference that has 5+ parallel tracks, it’s impossible to attend every talk. Don’t worry we’ve got you covered! Just like the 2017 edition, we recorded as many DPC18 sessions as possible, and will be publishing them on the official Dutch PHP Conference YouTube channel in the coming weeks.
