This is a final reminder for everyone joining us at the Dutch PHP Conference, either on Thursday for the tutorial day, on Friday and Saturday for the main conference days, or all of the above.
Venue and Timings
Registration will open at 9am each day. We will have tea and coffee available at this time. The sessions start at 9:30am prompt so do please allow plenty of time for your journey. We have directions for travel by public transport and by car on our travel page. On tutorial days look for the Grand Café (on the right side of entrance D) and the main conference days, look for Entrance E.
Please print your ticket and bring this with you to registration, both for tutorial day and for the main conference. This makes registration a much faster process for us and for you - we can process your registration without this but you'll be in the slow lane and it could take a while. So please print your tickets!
Wifi will be available throughout the venue. The SSID is “DPC-WIFI” and the password is “dpc-wifi”. However, providing a wifi connection for hundreds of devices at once is always challenging and although we think we did a pretty good job last year, we can’t make any guarantees about the quality or stability of the wifi.
We event organisers love feedback just as much as our speakers do. Please do let us know your thoughts as this helps us adapt future events for your preferences. During the event we will be asking you to leave ratings and feedback for all the sessions you attend through the joind.in feedback site. You can leave your feedback there on the talks, as well as on the conference in general.
After the event we will ask you to fill in a short questionnaire about your overall experience; you will receive this by email. We strongly recommend you fill in this questionnaire because on completion you will be forwarded to our electronic goody bag with lots of offers from our sponsors!
If you are blogging, tweeting, or photographing any of this year's event (or you just want to share how excited you are about being there, like us!) then please use the hashtag #dpc17 for twitter, flickr, or whatever else you are using. This way we can all find one another's content and be excited together! On twitter you should follow @dpcon to keep up to date with all the news as the event unfolds.
See You There
We look forward to seeing you at the DPC. If you are tweeting, taking pictures, blogging or otherwise don't forget to use our tag #dpc17. Also you can follow this tag to make sure you don't miss a thing during the event itself!
See you in Amsterdam!
