Call for Papers is open!

December 17, 2020

This year marks the 14th edition of the Dutch PHP Conference, once again hosted in the beautiful city of Amsterdam.

Our tutorial day will be Thursday, June 25, with the main 2-day conference following on June 26 and 27, 2020.

Call for papers now open

We have published our brand new website and opened the CfP! You can submit your papers up to and including January 28th. You can send in as many proposals as you like, so start submitting!

Tech and non-tech talks

We are looking for high-quality, technical sessions from speakers who can cover advanced topics and keep our demanding audience inspired. Be it cutting edge technology or battle-hardened techniques, if it’s interesting to PHP developers, send it in!

Besides technical topics, we are looking for talks about soft skills that complement the deep technical skills necessary to be successful as a technical developer. Read our talk ideas and tips for submitting here.

New Call for Paper categories

We have added 2 new CfP categories;

Deep-dive session.
This year we will offer talks with double the length of a regular talk. So 90 minutes instead of 45 minutes. We made this decision based on feedback from speakers and audience that with 45 minutes you can only scratch the surface of some advanced and/or in-depth topics.

Social activity
We’d like to expand the Friday evening social with more fun activities. There will definitely be a CodeNight and a GameNight activity. If you have a fun activity in mind that you want to host at our social, please use our CfP to pitch your idea.

Learn from differences

We learn from people who have different experiences, beliefs and perspectives on things. We therefore encourage everybody to submit proposals on a broad spectrum of topics and views. Diversity enriches our community and supports the principal purpose of our conference: sharing ideas, experience and insights with each other in an open, inclusive environment for everyone.

CfP open up to and including January 28th

This is your chance to share your expertise, ideas and perspectives. Be sure to submit your proposal no later than January 28th 2020. If you are accepted, the speaker package will cover travel costs, hotel stay and a free full ticket to the conference. Visit the Call for Papers page for more information.

We are very excited to start reviewing your submissions or welcome you to another great edition of the Dutch PHP Conference in June!

See you in Amsterdam!
