Schedule is published!

05 Mar 2019

Choose from 11 tutorial sessions, 5 parallel tracks and enjoy our social evening.

Today we published our schedule and opened registration for the Dutch PHP Conference 2019! We offer 11 workshops, 5 parallel tracks + 1 unconference track and many social activities.

DPC19 brings together the best speakers, PHP, JavaScript and DevOps talent from Europe and beyond for three days of high-level technical sessions. You are invited to join this community and book your tickets for the tutorial day on June 6 and/or the 2 main conference days on June 7 and 8.

In-depth tutorial workshops

The tutorial day on Thursday June 6 provides an opportunity to spend time with an expert, going in-depth on specific topics like:

  • Advanced Application Architecture by Matthias Noback
  • Good Code by Kevlin Henney
  • TDD, DDD and teamwork by Joop Lammerts & Pim Elshoff
  • PHP Internals by Derick Rethans

Plus workshops by Chris Holland, Joel Lord, Andrew Rota, Rob Allen, Denis Brumann and Christian Liebel. These workshops are in small groups so that presenters can respond to individual questions.

Main Conference: 66 talks in 5 parallel tracks

At the 2 main conference days you can choose out of 66 talks! 55 talks on the official schedule plus at least 11 talks offered on the Unconference track. Our schedule features a variety of talks on PHP, Software Design, Programming, Development principles and DevOps. One track is dedicated to non-tech topics and another to Front-end and JavaScript topics. This promises some choice-overload. Thankfully, for most of you the monday following #DPC19 is a bank holiday.

Social events on Friday

Like last year we do things a little different from previous years. Based on feedback we received we decided to stay in the RAI venue after finishing the last talk on the first conference day. We’ll start with soup followed by french fries, hamburgers and hot dogs. Around 20:00 we’ll kick-off the social which consists of parallel subevents. Besides the traditional social with drinks, we’ll also organise a CodeNight and GameNight. Additionally we are working on more interesting activities, so make sure you follow us on twitter to stay tuned!
