Venue facilities

Our conference venue RAI Amsterdam provides the following facilities:

Accessibility measures

Amsterdam RAI is accessible for everybody. The aisles are spacious and the surface is flat. Elevators and accessible toilets are available. Read more about the accessibility & mobility.

Gender-neutral toilets

At the DPC venue there are gender-neutral toilets available. At the main conference days you can find gender-neutral and gentleman toilets downstairs and ladies and gentleman toilets upstairs. 


At Dutch PHP Conference we will have a free wifi connection. Login details will be published here once available.

Food & Drinks

During the conference days there will be unlimited coffee, tea and refreshing drinks. At lunch we offer a range of sandwiches, salads, a hot snack, fruits and, during the afternoon break, Italian ice-cream for everyone! The lunch includes vegetarian options, do you have any other dietary requirements please make a note in the specified field during registration so we can make special arrangements for you.

Always report an emergency via the alarm number +31 20 549 1234 (Control Room available 24/7). A number of RAI employees are trained for emergency responses and are familiar with the emergency plan.  

AEDs and First Aid boxes are available at all receptions and gatehouses.

Prayer room

There is a prayer room available in the RAI. The prayer room has a washroom and two private cubicles where people of all faiths can pray or meditate in a peaceful environment. The prayer room is always open and accessible via Entrance D at level -1. The two private cubicles for prayer/meditation can be locked from the inside.

Quiet room

During the Dutch PHP Conference there is a quiet room available, the quiet room is the Forum room. You can use the quiet room between the opening and the closing keynote, and on Friday evening during the conference social.

Cloak room

During the conference days you can put your coat on one of the coat racks. During the Conference Social on Friday evening there is a free guarded cloak room available (from 17.00 till end of conference social). There are no lockers available.

Baby care lounge

The Baby Care Lounge is equipped with three comfortable chairs, a baby changing bench with two cushions, a playpen, a refrigerator and a sink with hot and cold water. Access to the Baby Care Lounge is controlled by a key system and the room can be locked from the inside.
